After filing for divorce, I took my two toddlers and fled from an abusive environment. All of a sudden, I found myself alone with my two children, facing life with uncertainty. Living a life in constant ‘fight or flight’ mode took a toll on my body, mind, and soul. I was literally at my breaking point.
Fast forward several years and you’ll see a successful mom of two teens living life to its fullest. How did I manage to transform my life from worry to a life filled with mindfulness? I used a simple meditation practice.

1. ALIGNS YOUR BODY, MIND, SOUL & SPIRIT
Everything you need, your courage, strength, compassion and love; everything you need is already within you. You just need to tap into it. Easier said than done, right?? When you meditate daily, even 5 minutes a day, you will start to align your body, mind, soul and spirit. This is so important for us to do, mommas. We live a life that is full of constant stress, worry and busyness. Do you ever feel like you want to be happier in your day to day life, be a more ‘present’ momma, or find a way to love yourself more? I found that answer a few years ago- MEDITATING.

When you nurture your mindset you allow a high vibration of energy to come forth and transform you. Let’s face it, we all can have a negative mindset at times. Meditating will help you eliminate those limiting, negative thoughts. As you clear your subconscious mind, you’ll create space for new positive thoughts and new creative ideas to come forth.

3. CLEANSING AND BALANCING YOUR CHAKRAS
I didn’t know much about chakras until a few years ago, let alone how to cleanse and balance them! But let me tell you, balancing your chakras and meditating go hand in hand. It is a powerful and life changing practice! Your chakras are the energy centers in your body in which energy flows through. Difficult periods of our lives can cause our chakras to become blocked. This is why it’s important to cleanse our chakras through meditation. You can also balance your emotions by balancing your chakras. Once I started to incorporate cleansing my chakras in my daily meditation routine, I saw a drastic improvement in my life. Check out my blog on Balancing Your Chakras for more in depth information.
