

Use these 4 Habits to Stay Fit & Sexy in Your 40's
Forty and frumpy...forty and flabby...forty and fatigued… Is this how you’ve been trained to view life in your 40’s?
Well, I am here to show you how to change that viewpoint to one of: Forty and FIERCE...forty and FIT...forty and FABULOUS! With these 4 habits integrated into your life, you will be living a life that is fulfilled, fun, foxy and free! Whether you are married, single, kids, or no kids- you can be fit and sexy in your 40’s!

1. Make A Vision Board
- It is important to have a visual of our goals
- Use words and pictures that motivate you to work on achieving your goals
- I keep mine by the side of my bed so it’s the first and last thing I see each day
2. Use The 80/20 Rule of
Thumb When Eating
- 80% of the time eat healthy, 20% of the time is fun food
- Focus on progress not perfection (no one eats perfect 100% of the time)
- Use a food journal or food app to track all your daily food intake
- Cook healthier meals for the entire family- get your household on the ‘healthier eating journey’


3.Find a Type of Exercise
YOU Enjoy
- Exercise 3-4x a week (at least 20 minutes each session)
- Have an exercise buddy to stay accountable
- If weather permits, exercise outside. Fresh air & sunshine are good for the soul!
- Keep a fitness journal to track your progress
- schedule your exercise/gym time in your daily planner
- Have fun! Scooter with your kids outside on an ‘adult scooter’, learn to skateboard with your teenage son!
- Get a dog so you have a ‘reason’ to get out and walk daily. If you enjoy your workouts you are more likely to stick with it.

4. Write Out Your Daily List of Goals
- Set your intentions for the day each morning
- List 3-4 personal goals each day that you want to achieve
- Keep this list in view during the day (I keep mine on my planner, or in my car)
- In the evening check off each goal that you achieved
- Example of my List of Goals for Monday:
- Eat healthy 80/20 (no emotional eating)
- Exercise 20 min
- Journal & Pray
- Meditate
